Giant Cat and Dog
Winter is really here now as I trek around with Trudi in my moon boots in what feels like knee high slush and snow.
With our recent dump of over 25 cm of snow, the snowpet building crew has been out and busy, and it seems that the days of merely making a simply snowman are gone.
Instead giant size domesticated pets are the new trend!

Trudi, the beginning
This is Trudi. We adopted her on June 2, 2012 and for the last 2 months, has been an amazing highlight of my life. I cannot imagine how she ended up in a high kill pound in Georgia, USA and lucky for us, was saved by Laurence Perron who runs Refuge St. Chatques in Quebec.
Our one-eyed bandit is a wonderfully sweet Lab/Pitbull mix, although when asked, I tend to say that she is half brown cow and half pig.

Siblings II
For Dave and Liz in Namche Bazaar, Nepal, the gateway to the Everest Region.
Murphy likes to communicate and often gives me this look when he wants something, especially during feeding time.
Maggie, on the other hand, knows better. I'm not someone she needs to bother with.

Day Watch
Spikey
I'm starting to appreciate these creatures, their beauty and intelligence. As of tomorrow I will be responsible for the well-being of Maggie and Murphy while their owners are away. I hope I will be able to live up to their expectations. Labels: Creatures
