endless possibilities in a world of practicalities...
My extended Italian travel cycle for the last 3 weeks was a wonderful blend of interesting sites, a beautiful culture, inspiring photography and strong personal connections. But all good things must come to an end and I have now moved north to Holland. Italy, you will not be easily be forgotten and since life is a circle, I am sure I will come around once again to meet you.

It seems that it was necessary for me to leave Italy, before realizing how much I love the country and was not ready to part with it yet. So, after two nights in Munich, Germany and 125 euro later, I found myself on a 9 hour journey on the Trenitalia Intercity train back to Firenze.
To be able to make expensive but good decisions, such is the beauty of traveling for an extended period of time with wonderful hosts in Italian cities who welcome me back into their homes. And how fortunate that I got to see the vistas of the Bavarian Alps, not just once, but twice in a week!
