A taste of Austria
Innsbruck, the old provincial capital of Tirol, lies in the wide Inn valley at the intersection of two important traffic routes, between Germany and Italy and between Vienna and Switzerland. From all over the city there are vistas of the ring of mountains which rear up above the gentler terraces of lower ground on which it lies. More here
The view of the alps in the near distance is beautiful to me but for some, it is claustrophobic and unbearable and inpossible to stay in this city for a length of tiime.

Austria appeals to me. Looks organised, clean and well-off. PC
I guess not like dis-organized, dirty and poor Morocco. But maybe that's why I liked it there so much.
I was already in awe with the hats before I scrolled down :)
I'm really glad you're keeping up with the blog and pics. It's not the right time for me to go to Europe so I'm probably heading west to BC. I'll fill you in soon (once i figure it out)
