Harzardous Trees

It is said that Napoleon had these trees planted on the side of the roads. By providing shade for his soldiers, they would then be able to march for longer periods of time. However, when driving down these roads, it is possible that the trees will walk and converge towards the centre. So today, metal barriers are installed to provide protection for drivers against this illusion on their eyes.
